- Course activity functions can all be managed by central, external or departmental administrative staff.
- Access to data by administrators is dependent on individual role permissions and authority levels.
- Processes are streamlined minimising paperwork and data duplication.
- All users can manage their own data if allowed and the individual learner can make their own course bookings, thereby, reducing demand on administrative staff.
- A course calendar is easily maintained for internal or external events with delegates being automatically notified through emails to speed up the process.
The EASE Centre module operates through interfaces for users, courses and reporting:
- Users are registered with a primary role of administrator, tutor or learner and their role permissions dynamically configure their interface to allow access to authorised functions.
- Enrollment templates for individual courses define the registration data that is needed and this data can be shared with existing business systems (e.g. personnel database). Linkages can exist to finance systems for cost recovery or invoicing, with promotion of courses on the Intranet or Internet to allow online bookings and payments if required.
- Course dates, duration, number of places, location, start/end times, booking levels, linked events, allocated tutors, authorisation for online bookings are just some of the elements linked to joining instructions, pre and post course activities, online components, notices, assignments, tutor communications tools and course outcomes for individual attendees.
- Reporting includes facilities to run standard management reports, to generate adhoc reports through a report generator or to link the data to third party analysis tools.
The Telematica EASE system is geared to eradicate the need for paperwork and data duplication, which not only ensures the appropriate information reaches the recipient quickly and accurately but does so with significantly reduced administrative effort and increased levels of data security and protection.
